Miastenia gravis adquirida en caninos domésticos

RESUMEN
La miastenia gravis adquirida se describe como una enfermedad de importancia, en el área de medicina veterinaria, no es rara y es causa común de megaesófago adquirido canino. Se revisa la fisiología normal de la unión neuromuscular, y la patofisiología, clasificación, semiótica, diagnóstico, tratamiento y pronóstico de esta neuropatía. Se analizan principalmente las controversias que existen del tratamiento y pronóstico de los pacientes miasténicos, así como la importancia de no seguir subdiagnosticando este desorden inmunomediado.
