Predicción de la cobertura radicular completa: abordaje basado en evidencia

RESUMEN
El tratamiento de las recesiones gingivales se ha convertido en un aspecto terapéutico importante para el periodoncista, ya que representa una de las principales causas de hipersensibilidad dental y alteraciones estéticas. Los objetivos de la cirugía plástica periodontal incluyen la cobertura radicular completa con una apariencia adecuada con respecto a los tejidos adyacentes. El clínico necesita ser orientado en un proceso de toma de decisiones basado en evidencia para que pueda planear el abordaje terapéutico, predecir el resultado y, finalmente, alcanzarlo.
