RESUMEN
Dermoabrasión es el proceso de remoción mecánica de diferentes
capas de la piel. Su práctica se ha incrementado en los
últimos años debido a que es una técnica poco invasiva, de bajo
riesgo, con menor tiempo de recuperación y bajo costo respecto
de otros procedimientos.
El presente artículo hace una revisión de distintas técnicas
de abrasión cutánea y analiza sus indicaciones terapéuticas, así
como las ventajas y principales complicaciones. Es importante
conocer los diversos procedimientos para brindar al paciente
opciones de tratamiento basadas en su patología y una meticulosa
selección de casos.
