RESUMEN
Los materiales de relleno tienen más de un siglo en uso. Durante
este período de tiempo se ha aprendido mucho acerca de sus
riesgos y aplicaciones. Este artículo aborda las principales características
de la mayoría de los rellenos que hay en el mercado, tanto
de materiales de relleno temporales como el ácido hialurónico
o el colágeno, materiales de relleno semipermanentes como la
hidroxiapatitia de calcio, o el ácido poliláctico, y materiales de relleno
permanentes como el silicón, hidrogel de poliacrilamida , hidrogel
de polialquilimida y microesferas de polimetil-metacrilato
