RESUMEN
Los médicos y fisioterapeutas que se dedican a la rehabilitación neurológica emplean una enorme variedad de técnicas. Al examinar las estrategias de tratamiento con distintas bases fisiopatológicas y filosóficas, se aprecia la posibilidad de utilizar diversas técnicas para conseguir un propósito, de acuerdo a objetivos específicos del tratamiento. Este artículo describe varias técnicas de uso común, pero con escasa evidencia científica para el empleo de otras. Por tanto se revisan los datos disponibles para apoyar su uso.
