Disfunción renal secundaria a lesión medular aguda

RESUMEN
La lesión medular es el daño a cualquier parte de la médula espinal que
resulta en cambios permanentes o temporales de las funciones motoras,
sensitivas o autonómicas por debajo de la lesión. Entre las complicaciones
más frecuentes (y con mayor morbilidad y mortalidad) está la
insuficiencia renal crónica y aguda; sin embargo, hay poca evidencia
científica de la patogénesis de la lesión renal aguda en estos pacientes.
