Concentrados de complejo protrombínico en el servicio de urgencias

RESUMEN
Los concentrados de complejo protrombínico son
compuestos derivados del plasma que contienen los
factores de coagulación dependientes de la vitamina
K. Se desarrollaron en 1950 como fuente del factor
IX para el tratamiento de la hemofilia B y su principal
indicación actualmente es la reversión de los efectos
de los anticoagulantes orales tipo antagonistas de la
vitamina K en situaciones de urgencia. Otras indicaciones
de su administración son: terapia de reemplazo
de los factores II y X en ciertas deficiencias congénitas
y adquiridas, coagulopatía asociada con enfermedad
hepática severa, tratamiento de complicaciones hemorrágicas
masivas perioperatorias, traumatismo en
pacientes anticoagulados y coagulopatías por sepsis.
