Hueso frontal como sitio inusual de metástasis de carcinoma renal de células claras

RESUMEN

Presentamos el caso de un paciente masculino de 44 años, con tabaquismo intenso de una cajetilla al día desde hace 20 años, que posterior a haber sufrido un golpe contuso directo moderado a la región frontal, presentó crecimiento de lesión indurada no dolorosa que en el lapso de 8 meses alcanza un tamaño considerable. Posterior a la realización de estudios de imagen se sospecha presencia de un meningioma frontal gigante; fue sometido a intervención quirúrgica para resección de la lesión y posterior al estudio histopatológico se evidencia la presencia de una metástasis renal al hueso frontal, siendo este sitio de metástasis muy poco frecuente, motivo por el cual se hace del conocimiento de la comunidad neuroquirúrgica.
