Mieloma múltiple en una forma infrecuente de debut y evolución. Presentación de caso

RESUMEN

Fundamento: el mieloma múltiple descrito por primera vez por Rustizky en el año 1873 es frecuente en pacientes mayores de 65 años de edad, y las formas graves de esta enfermedad son poco frecuente. Presentación de caso: se reporta el caso de una paciente de 45 años de edad que acudió a consulta por infecciones a repetición y dolor lumbar; se diagnosticó en los resultados del estudio un mieloma múltiple de tipo leucemia de células plasmáticas primaria con morfología plasmoblástica. Conclusiones: la paciente evolucionó de forma desfavorable hasta su deceso.
