Puente carótido-subclavio y prótesis endovascular como manejo híbrido de aneurisma de aorta torácica

RESUMEN
Introducción: Los aneurismas de aorta torácica son menos comunes que los de aorta abdominal. Su manejo convencional se basa en la cirugía abierta, pero existe una alta morbimortalidad, especialmente en pacientes que cuentan con comorbilidades de base. Con el avance de la tecnología el abordaje endovascular se ha convertido en una opción real para esta patología.
Objetivo: Presentar el caso de un paciente masculino de 56 años de edad con múltiples antecedentes médicos y comorbilidades, al cual se le diagnosticó un aneurisma de aorta torácica que fue manejado de manera híbrida (cirugía abierta y endovascular).
Conclusiones: El manejo de aneurismas de aorta torácica con prótesis endovascular tiene buenos resultados y puede disminuir la morbimortalidad de estos pacientes, especialmente en aquellos no candidatos a cirugía abierta. Este manejo debe ser multidisciplinario e individualizado, especialmente cuando se considera un manejo híbrido.
