RESUMEN
El síndrome de embolia grasa es una complicación seria de las fracturas de huesos largos. Sin embargo, es limitado el número de casos reportados en la literatura donde se asocia el síndrome con fractura de huesos cortos. El presente es un reporte de un caso de síndrome de embolia grasa asociado a fractura de hueso corto a nivel de astrágalo y metacarpos.
