Fiebre Prolongada en Enfermedades Autoinmunes en Pediatría. Diagnóstico y Alteraciones Inmunológicas

RESUMEN
El aumento de la temperatura corporal o fiebre, es uno de los síntomas mas frecuentes dentro de la patología pediátrica. Sin embargo, a pesar de nuevas técnicas de laboratorio molecular, hay casos en que el origen es difícil de identificar. Se reporta que 47%de los casos es por una infección, 16% neoplasias, 8% enfermedades del tejido conjuntivo y el resto etiologías varias y hasta en un 14% no se tiene un diagnóstico. Se presentan en este trabajo algunas de las características de la fiebre y alteraciones inmunológicas en fiebre reumática, artritis reumatoide juvenil, lupus eritematoso sistémico, enfermedad mixta del tejido conectivo y en dermatomiositis juvenil.
