Síndrome urémico hemolítico

RESUMEN
El Síndrome Urémico Hemolítico afecta principalmente a pacientes en edad pediátrica. Se caracteriza por la triada de anemia hemolítica microangiopática, trombocitopenia e insuficiencia renal aguda. El SUH es la principal causa de fallo renal agudo en niños. Se conocen diferentes tipos y agentes causales de SUH que es importante distinguir pues los cursos clínicos y pronósticos de cada una son diferentes.
