Análisis retrospectivo de las lesiones de vías biliares post-colecistectomía, manejadas en el Hospital San Juan de Dios, durante el periodo 2000-2008

RESUMEN
Las lesiones de Bias biliares representan una complicación infrecuente, la bibliografía al respecto es poca pues la casuística mundial es limitada. El propósito del siguiente estudio es caracterizar las lesiones de vías biliares que se manejaron en el Hospital San Juan de Dios en el periodo de 2000-2008. Obtener una visión objetiva de lo que ocurre en el país, específicamente en el Hospital San Juan de Dios y determinar la incidencia real en el medio, y averiguar si realmente ha variado con la cirugía laparoscópica, ver la evolución de los pacientes, y también identificar las medidas que podrían ayudar a disminuir la incidencia de tal complicación.
