Síndrome de Binder: malformaciones faciales y oculares. Reporte de un caso

RESUMEN
El síndrome de Binder se caracteriza por su apariencia clínica de puente nasal plano y requiere del manejo de las disfunciones oromandibulares y nasales hasta la adolescencia. Se ha demostrado su asociación con diferentes anomalías musculoesqueléticas, gastroenterales y neurológicas. Se presenta un caso con anomalías oculares, tales como estrabismo, catarata, goniodisgenesias, miopía alta con estafiloma posterior y esclerocoroidosis miópica, además de alteraciones osteoarticulares, retraso en el desarrollo psicomotor, hipoacusia y alteraciones gastrointestinales. El tratamiento reconstructivo estuvo acorde con la severidad de los defectos, logrando un adecuado perfil facial.
