RESUMEN

La colocación de accesos venosos centrales es un procedimiento empleado de forma constante en las Salas de Urgencias y Terapia Intensiva. Al realizarse a ciegas y la mayoría de las ocasiones en pacientes inestables, no se encuentra exento de complicaciones. Se presenta un caso muy poco común al realizar la colocación de acceso venoso central por técnica de Seldinger, la fractura y migración del alambre guía.
