RESUMEN
Se revisará en este artículo el cuidado del paciente politraumatizado, incluyendo el papel de los anestesiólogos en el departamento de urgencias, transporte intrahospitalario, cuidados transoperatorios y manejo postoperatorio. Trataremos de transmitir nuestra experiencia en el Hospital Español de México con respecto al manejo de este tipo de pacientes.
