FRAGMENTO

Es sorprendente la evolución que ha sufrido la Endocrinología en los últimos treinta años. Dentro de esta evolución llama la atención el progreso alcanzado en la terapéutica hormonal en general. La comunicación de Brown-Séquard a la Sociedad de Biología en 1889 abre la era endocrinológica y proclama principios que más tarde habrían de justificar la administración de extractos orgánicos en terapéutica, es decir la organoterapia.
