Corrección espontánea de la migración dental patológica después del tratamiento periodontal. Reporte de un caso

RESUMEN
La migración dental patológica (MDP) es una complicación común de la periodontitis moderada a severa y con frecuencia es la causa que motiva a los pacientes a buscar un tratamiento dental con la frecuente referencia: «Se me están separando los dientes». En esta revisión de la literatura (PubMed), presentaremos la información disponible sobre la prevalencia, etiología, tratamiento y prevención de la migración dental patológica con el reporte de un caso clínico tratado durante la residencia del Postgrado en Periodoncia.
