Complicaciones en laparoscopia ginecológica

RESUMEN

La cirugía laparoscópica presenta distintas ventajas sobre la cirugía tradicional (menor cicatrización, reducción del dolor y baja estancia). Sin embargo, al aumentar el número de pacientes sometidas a esta operación se ha incrementado también el número de complicaciones. En el presente trabajo se realiza una descripción de las principales complicaciones, que van desde las derivadas del tipo de abordaje quirúrgico; lesiones de los vasos sanguíneos; complicaciones intestinales; hernias incisionales; lesiones del tracto urinario; hasta complicaciones cardiopulmonares y neurológicas. El presente trabajo brinda un panorama amplio que permite normar la conducta del médico y tomar las precauciones necesarias cuando se decide su realización.
