RESUMEN
Estudio de tipo analítico, cuasiexperimental, de tipo antes-después, longitudinal prospectivo. Se incluye un grupo de 23 pacientes de entre 30 y 60 años con alteración de glucosa y diferentes comorbilidades al que le denominamos NUATIN, y al cual se le dio seguimiento por parte de un equipo médico denominado ATEMEC. Con la característica especial de ser un equipo médico al que también se estudia, ya que se interviene en él para dar una mejor atención al nuatin. El objetivo es crear un modelo de atención en salud que organice de manera sistemática los recursos de salud existentes con el objeto de optimizar la atención de los pacientes, reflejándose en la disminución de la morbi-mortalidad de la enfermedad en estudio; en base a las evidencias médicas y consensos más actuales de las principales asociaciones de especialistas en el mundo (ADA, ACC, EASD, etc.).
