Procalcitonina. Su papel como biomarcador de sepsis

RESUMEN
Diversos autores han postulado que las mediciones de procalcitonina son superiores a las pruebas comúnmente utilizadas, como son las mediciones de proteína C reactiva, para el diagnóstico temprano de sepsis.
