El uso de la tecnología multimedia para la enseñanza de la historia de la medicina. Estudio de casos y controles en estudiantes de medicina

RESUMEN
Los primeros programas de cómputo como apoyo a la educación universitaria surgieron al final de la década de los 60, reflejo de la gran preocupación por mejorar la enseñanza a través de nuevas herramientas. Al principio estos programas abarcaban lecturas, casos clínicos y colecciones de imágenes de anatomía, venereología, radiología y dermatopatología. La creación del Internet y las páginas Web, dio como resultado que algunas especialidades médicas incursionaran en este campo con métodos como el CAL (por sus siglas en inglés,
Computer-Assisted-Learning), el NUDOV (entrenamiento en dermatología 2000), casos clínicos interactivos de enseñanza basada en evidencias y cursos en línea para el estudiante.
