Las
Aeromonas móviles han sido asociadas con una gran variedad de infecciones que afectan a los peces y al hombre. Este grupo de bacterias ha sido aislado del medio acuático, tanto de aguas continentales como marinas, ya sea de ambientes contaminados como libres de ésto. Las
Aeromonas forman parte de la flora normal del intestino de peces y otros animales acuáticos.
