Fracturas periprotésicas femorales tratadas con clavo supracondíleo distal, después de prótesis total de la rodilla

RESUMEN

Se realizó una evaluación retrospectiva de tres pacientes que presentaron fractura supracondílea femoral periprotésica que se trataron mediante un clavo retrógrado supracondíleo. Los tres tenían previamente una prótesis total de rodilla. Su evolución postquirúrgica fue sin complicaciones, regresando a su actividad en un período de dos a tres meses después del acto quirúrgico. No se presentaron retardos de consolidación ni consolidación viciosa. En una paciente se trataba de su segunda prótesis.
