Reconstrucción artroscópica del ligamento cruzado anterior mediante injerto hueso-tendón-hueso, ligado con tornillos interferenciales

RESUMEN
Se presenta una serie de 22 pacientes (20 hombres y 2 mujeres) con lesión antigua del ligamento cruzado anterior, en quienes se reconstruyó dicho ligamento mediante un injerto hueso-tendón-hueso fijado con tornillos interferenciales. La reincorporación a sus actividades fue en 7 casos a los 3 meses sin actividad deportiva, en 8 a los 4 meses (comerciantes o choferes), en 6 a los 5 meses (campesinos) y a una mujer con actividad deportiva como futbolista, después de un año. La prueba de Lachmann fue positiva en grado I en 21 casos y grado II solamente en uno. Todos los 22 tuvieron crepitación fémoro-rotuliana a los 3 meses, disminuyó a 15 casos a los 6 meses y a sólo 7 casos después de un año.
