Enfermedad de Behçet en una niña: reporte de caso

RESUMEN
La enfermedad de Behçet es una enfermedad inflamatoria sistémica, que se manifiesta clásicamente por la tríada de aftas
orales, úlceras genitales y uveítis. Las manifestaciones oculares, neurológicas y vasculares determinan el pronóstico de la enfermedad. Las variadas manifestaciones clínicas y la falta de pruebas diagnósticas hacen de la enfermedad de Behçet
un reto diagnóstico. En México se desconoce su prevalencia. Se presenta el caso de una paciente de 10 años de edad, con
cuadro faríngeo viral, dolor y úlceras en el área genital; representa un reto diagnóstico ante la ausencia de otros síntomas y porque se trata de una entidad de baja prevalencia y alta heterogeneidad clínica.
