Primer Caso de Switch Arterial Tardío en un Centro de Referencia Regional

RESUMEN
Se ha considerado que la cirugía de Switch Arterial
cuando hay un defecto septal ventricular puede realizarse
de manera tardía (como límite los 6 meses de edad),
pero con el riesgo de desarrollar enfermedad vascular
obstructiva pulmonar. Se presenta el caso de paciente
con diagnóstico tardío y en malas condiciones para corrección
anatómica primaria, por lo que se realiza paliación
del defecto septal mediante bandaje arterial pulmonar
y se corrige satisfactoriamente 6 meses después.
