Tratamiento endovascular del aneurisma de aorta abdominal. Visión de la radiología intervencionista

RESUMEN

El tratamiento endovascular de los aneurismas de aorta abdominal con el empleo de endoprótesis es un procedimiento relativamente nuevo, que utiliza procedimientos de imagen y que tiene el potencial de redefinir el tratamiento tradicional de esta patología. Los procedimientos de imagen juegan un papel preponderante en la evaluación del paciente antes del procedimiento, durante la implantación de la endoprótesis y en el seguimiento posterior. Este artículo revisa la visión de la radiología intervencionista.
