Foramen oval permeable y embolismo paradójico en ictus isquémico de un paciente joven

RESUMEN
foramen oval permeable es un defecto cardiaco que se puede encontrar en pacientes jóvenes con evento cerebrovascular criptogénico. Este también representa una de las posibles causas de cortocircuito derecha-izquierda en el embolismo paradójico, en asociación con trombosis venosa periférica y una condición hemodinámica efectiva por embolismo. Presentamos el caso de un paciente de 41 años que desarrolla múltiples eventos isquémicos y un síndrome de enclaustramiento en el contexto de un foramen oval permeable y trombosis venosa profunda.
