Sospecha de insuficiencia suprarrenal en el paciente con administración crónica de glucocorticoides

RESUMEN

El manejo preventivo o la detección temprana de insuficiencia suprarrenal en el paciente con administración crónica de glucocorticoides es de vital importancia en el contexto de situación de estrés. El objetivo de este texto es conocer las diferentes situaciones en las que podría ocurrir este padecimiento, así como su tratamiento y prevención. Lo anterior con la finalidad de generar mayor conciencia sobre esta afección y evitar complicaciones asociadas.
