ABSTRACT
The National Institute of Cardiology “Ignacio Chavez” has two different philosophies, two different ways of thinking, a special mystical theology, gathering together and defining a mission, a point of view. Both of them are welcome as a valuable heritage, the first one was bequeathed by Dr. Ignacio Chavez, the founder of the Institute, and the second one by the Bishop Claudio Maria Dobuis, the founder of the Congregation “Hermanas de la Caridad del Verbo Encarnado” ( “Sisters of Charity of Divine Word”). Both institutions aim not to create a cold and hospital, full of solitude and helplessness, with a medical science full of medicines and modern technology; all on the contrary, their main goal is to count with nurses with a high spiritual quality and a deep religious spirit that may give us , up to de present, a culture made by a refined sensibility and a high sense of human values and duties. We intend that everyone can find its own intrinsic value because the one who does it can have solidarity, and solidarity, it is well-known begins from knowing how to serve with excellence.REFERENCES
