ABSTRACT
Nurse’s intervention consists of providing specific cares from human response in the presence of a problem or disease. Nowadays, surgical procedures greatly take part of nurse’s daily tasks, so nursing professionalism is essential to supply a specific and effective care based upon scientific and humanistic basis.If Virginia Henderson’s concepts are applied, it can be view a person under the holistic scope, based upon fourteen necessities. This review is a conscious adaptation from Henderson’s model in a surgical process, with the object of preserving, restoring or recovering human health.
