ABSTRACT
Today’s tendency to keep together the information as a whole in every fields doesn’t exclude Medicine. So, in our country it has been developed a Multicentric Data Base that will include information of many intensive care units with the following goals: 1. To carry out multicentric assays with larger samples that could validate the results of these asssays. 2. To get national records of the most frequent diseases in the ICU. 3. Make easier to carry out comparative interinstitutional studies. 4. To get a better management of the resources.
However, the vital signs sheet (VSS), link between the critical ill patient and the Data Base requires to be up dated and standarized to make the work easier. There were colected 14 VSS from different hospitals, to extract the best of each one to create a more practical, complete and cheaper format.
