ABSTRACT
This work makes a bibliographic review of the disease that the patient is undergoing, which allows us to obtain the necessary elements to apply the nursing care process with the purpose of identifying the real and potential diagnosis as well as the specific nursing participation in the individual with unstable angina. The nursing care process is a systematic method that, as an instrument to provide integral care to a healthy or sick individual considering his/her individual needs, leads us to solve or improve the problems and to obtain a continuous evaluation that will show if the care was appropriate or if there is the need to change the care until achieving the desired goals. The objectives of the nursing care process are: to achieve the quick recovery of the patient through an integral care so that he/she may recover his/her maximum independence, in relation to his/her life style. To prepare an appropriate care plan. To provide the patient with high quality care in less time and with few resources. To facilitate individualized care. To promote care continuity. To favor nurse - patient communication and to prevent any additional damage during the hospitalization.
