ABSTRACT
National medical journals are important because
they focus on local clinical problems, peer
communication, and fostering critical reading
among healthcare workers. The actors involved in
the development of the journals must fulfill their
purposes to improve the quality of the publications
of the national journals and contribute to improve
the quality of care.
