ABSTRACT

Speed and change are characteristics of our time. Both teaching and learning ways have evolved, and the professionals involved in the educational processes must strengthen qualities in their students, such as the development of intelligence incorporating the usage of technology in the didactic processes. Medical education must have an elevated standard of quality, and responsibility in the teaching-learning process must be shared among institutions, their faculty and alumni. The evolution and permanent updating will allow achieving the difficult goal of incorporating in healthcare teams participants from different generations, from traditionalists to baby boomers, generation X, and millennials, balancing out each one’s needs to work in harmony.
