The other psychologists: professional track of three ph. d. graduates of desarrollo humano at Universidad Iberoamericana

ABSTRACT

This paper analyzes the professional track of three PH. D. Graduates of Universidad Iberoamericana´s Human Development program. The context in which this program was created is analyzed, with emphasis in the work of Juan Lafarga. This program opened the possibility for non-psychologists to work en areas usually reserved for psychologists. From then on there has been a dispute for the academic and professional fields between psychologists and other professionals that work in fields usually considered belonging to psychologists, particularly psychotherapy.
