ABSTRACT
Ofuji’s disease is a rare dermatosis of unknown etiology characterized
by pruritic and sterile papules and pustules which appear
mainly in face and trunk. Peripheral eosinophilia can be present,
and there are no systemic symptoms in immunocompetent
patients. Differential diagnoses include inflammatory and eosinophilic
dermatosis. Histopathology is key for diagnosis and the
first line treatment is indomethacin. We present a 34-year-old
Salvadorian male (immunocompetent) with history of one year
of recurrent lesions and multiple treatments.
