ABSTRACT
Introduction: There are diseases of low severity, such as meteorism or dyspepsia, for which drugs, which are not so necessary, are often prescribed to shorten their duration and/or intensity without being fully aware of the side effects they may cause either at the correct dose or due to an overdose.
Case report: The topic is developed through the presentation of the case of a young man who presents an allergic reaction after taking clebopride/simeticone. Later on, he begins with uncontrolled and involuntary movements of the tongue without alteration of consciousness which are involved in the consumption of this drug and finally disappear with the administration of bipyridene.
Conclusion: There is no safe drug, so a rational medication management must be considered. The ExtraPiramidalismo phenomenon should be anticipated when prescribing clebopride/simeticone.
