ABSTRACT
Introduction: Two administration techniques for buprenorphine in cesarean section perioperative period in order to measure the effectiveness. Material and metods: 140 patients programmed for cesarean section under peridural anesthesia were divided into two groups: Group one (n = 70) buprenorphine 0.3 mg and lidocaine 2% plus epinephrine = 380 mg and a bupivacaine infusion 150 mg with buprenorphine 0.6 mg for 24 hours. Group two (n = 70) recived lidocaine 2% plus epinephrine = 400 mg and a dose of buprenorphine of 0.3 mg. Ketorolac 30 mg IV was used for rescue analgesia. Preoperative evaluation, Apgar score, surgery time, visual analogue scale (VAS), rescue analgesia doses and secondary events were recorder. Results: 37 patients eliminated themselves. Group one 61. Group two 41. There was no difference in the demographics data, variable hemodinamics perioperatories, surgery time. The Apgar to the minute, present significant difference. The visual scale divided equally and the doses of ketorolac rescue respectively were: Group one = 3.41 ± 1.74:: 1.18 ± 0.38. Group two 5 ± 1.19:: 1.61 ± 0.60 (p < 0.05). Conclussions: The bibliography shows to better results of analgesia and dose of rescue with peridural continuous infusions, which is very similar to found in the our work but with a high percentage dose of rescue (65%).REFERENCES
