ABSTRACT
The following work is part of the results of the research corresponding to the development of emotional skills and inclusive practices in the preparatory course of the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM). The process of adapting to a new social context and a new language, includes living with diverse cultures, religions and ethnicities; On the part of the students, this is complex and stressful. So it is necessary to use various techniques that favor the process of adaptation, communication and socialization of their learning and their experiences. For this, a set of cooperative techniques were used that favors the development of emotional skills and learning in the context of the class group Through observation and a survey of the techniques used, it was found that these encourage greater interaction between students, because they acquire more security and confidence by exposing their ideas and learning, improve their interpersonal relationships and therefore coexistence and acceptance to themselves and others. The use of these techniques favors the dynamics of the classes and allows teachers to enhance the emotional skills and quality in the teaching-learning process of our students.REFERENCES
