ABSTRACT
Medical universities have to form a professional with a high scientific, ethical and humanist level compromised with the communities where develop their professional labor. Therefore, it is necessary a renovating and updated substantive functions of medical universities to have them more contextualized to the requires of the social ways. This study proposes a pedagogical model for the improvement of professional performance of the professors in Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) to apply a socio cultural approach in the teaching process due to the cultural diversity of the students and the future professional ways from the diagnosis, a theorical practical purpose and validation of the results. The propose in practice of the model shows rise of the performance of the professors from the indicators evaluated.REFERENCES
