ABSTRACT
Drug resistant tuberculosis is a global public health problem. Although resistance to isoniazid has a prevalence of 5.7% in the region of the Americas, the information available on the management of these cases in children is scarce, so the scheme and duration of treatment is a dilemma. We describe a case with a delayed diagnosis of isoniazid monoresistance and a review of the literature.
