ABSTRACT
Dental photography is an essential part of current dentistry, as well as an important element for the documentation of the treatments. For dental photography, a SLR camera with a macro lens and a dedicated flash is necessary. Due to the characteristics of the oral cavity, the use of retractors, mirrors and contrasters devices will be necessary. With regard to the mode of the camera functions, the use of manual mode will be required and in this article the necessary parameters to obtain the best image quality will be described.
