ABSTRACT
Introduction: Th e hypokalemia is a common electrolytic dysfunction in children with diarrhea. As cause for chronic use of laxatives is uncommon. Clinic case: We report the case of feminine adolescent entered to a service of urgencies by syndrome painful abdominal and probable syndrome of Guillaín barré. In the one which fi nally you arrived to the diagnosis of nervous anorexy who I study with hypokalemia and everything the one squared clinical that originated important paralyzed íleo and muscular weakness. Conclusion: Th e hypokalemia went secondary to the chronic ingesta of laxatives and a great restriction in the ingest of rich foods in potassium. It should be considered hypokalemia in all adolescent with sharp abdominal syndrome and muscular weakness, looking for deliberately for history clinical compatible data with nervous anorexy.REFERENCES
