ABSTRACT
We describe a 18 years old female patient showing involuntary movements since the age of 6 months, such movements can be seen repeatedly during the day as paroxysmal and now flowing, only when the patient was already in voluntary motion, no occurrences are reported during rest or sleep. The patient does not respond to antiepileptic or neuroleptic therapy but respond to antibiotics, corticoid and immunotherapy. Associated to this affection we observe a probable immunological alterations (frequent infections and abnormal immunological panel results). The patient evolve with a series of exacerbations periods followed by gradual improve, even without medication, and then another abrupt onset cycle. The disorder in question is very rare and as this particular case has an uncommon etiology and treatment, it might be on the interest to the scientific community, health care professionals and medical science students.
