ABSTRACT
Non Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) is a large and complex group of malignant diseases that constitute 30% of the total of the lymphomas. The pathogenesis is not very well-known, the association has been made towards immunologic agents, oncogenes and immunosuppression. The clinical symptomathology is variable and not all the patients present the denominated symptoms B, which are characterized by the presence of fever over 38°C, night perspiration and weight loss, therefore this illness is diagnosed at advanced phases. The therapy depends on the histological type and stadium of the illness. We present a clinical case of secondary mandibular reconstruction with an implant of iliac crest to mandibular resection for NHL that was done according to the reconstruction parameters reported in the literature and has a good prognosis evolution with five years to control.
