ABSTRACT
Introduction: The scalp is a richly vascularized area and consists of multiple layers described classically with the following acronym: «SCALP». The reconstruction can be done in different ways depending, fundamentally, on the type and extent of the defect. Case report: We present the case of a 37-year-old man, with heavy drug abuse, admitted after presenting a blunt short contusion at the fronto-parietal level (on sagittal suture), an irregular cut, whereby he was surgically cleaned, proceeding to make a spiral flap, respecting angles to rotate tissue and close defect completely. Discussion: The traumatic loss of all strata, including experience, is rare, but difficult to solve. The closing of the choice is by means of arterialized, pediculated or free, muscular or myocutaneous pendants. Swirling flap: mobilizes the peripheral tissues in 360 degrees, with minimal dissection and even distribution of tension on the four radiated suture lines. Conclusion: Within the proper treatment to reconstruct the scalp with the same tissue, has been shown to preserve the best way the tissue and aesthetic purposes.REFERENCES
