ABSTRACT
Introduction: The quality of educational institutions is becoming more relevant; therefore, it is paramount to know how their processes have developed in view of such quality. Objective: To evaluate the participants’ satisfaction regarding quality in the development of primary health care internships at the National School of Public Health.
Methods: Two-stage and prospective research, in which qualitative and quantitative techniques were combined. The study population was made up of 80 Chilean participants of the primary health care internship, who were divided into two groups, in the period from October 19 to November 6, and from November 9- 28, 2015, respectively. We designed a survey including ten closed questions and two open-ended questions, applied to the total number of participants.
Results: The students assessed the quality of the internships as very positive. The negative opinions were focused on the infrastructure.
Conclusions: All the students expressed satisfaction regarding the quality in the development of the internships, and expressed their suggestions. Quality was shown to be likely considered from the point of view of satisfactory expectations of users and consumers.
